Lorena is a Paraguayan-American journalist who writes narrative features, in-depth profiles, and investigative news stories on culture, politics, and inequity. On any given day she could be reporting on racism in AI, reproductive health atrocities, or romcom tropes on television.
She lives in New Orleans and has bylines in publications like Rolling Stone, The Los Angeles Times, Elle, and The Guardian. In 2023, Lorena won a Pulitzer Center grant to cover how Louisiana’s indigenous communities adapt to coastal erosion.
